The Joslin Professional Education Consortium (JPEC™) is a comprehensive learning system designed to provide positive impact on participant knowledge, skills, and behavior and to maintain and support Level 4 outcomes through performance improvement in the practice setting. The system incorporates multiple interventions delivered both continuously online--including the unique, interactive Joslin Virtual Clinic--and live through a variety of teaching methods to promote retention and address barriers to change. JPEC will promote and support the unique community of primary care providers (physicians, NP’s, PA’s and members of the clinical team including CDE’s, dieticians and pharmacists) who treat people with diabetes and its complications and wish to improve the care of their patients.
